Do you guaranty your puppies? Our puppies are guaranteed against any defects associated with, caused by, or a result of, improper breeding leading to death. Although these types of defects are very unlikely and has never happened in the past, if it were to happen, we would replace your puppy. What if I don't want to show my dog? That's fine. The vast majority of our dogs are placed with families as pets even though our puppies have outstanding qualities and very many of them could be shown. Families that purchase our dogs are not necessarily interested in showing, they do, however, want the assurance that they own the finest quality Beagle available. How do I go about purchasing one of your puppies? If you are interested in one of our pups, or a puppy from an upcoming litter, give us a call at our home in Illinois 815-963-6710 we are interested in talking to you, or email us at 4abeagle@4abeagle.com . I live out of state. Will you ship? Yes, we do ship using non-stop flights only in the continental US only and we prefer to use Priority Parcel Service by American Airlines. This insures the pup is the last to be loaded and the first to be taken off the airplane. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer of the pup.
When do I need to send a deposit? After speaking to us and as soon as you are convinced you want one of our Great Oak's Puppies. Our litters are often spoken for prior to birth, or shortly thereafter. How much of a deposit do I need to send? Our deposits are $100. When is the balance due? When you pick up your puppy. If I send a deposit, how do I know which puppy is mine? Puppies (picks) are sold in the order of deposits received. First Pick: If your deposit is received first, you will get first pick (pick of the litter). Unless we decide we are keeping one of the pups. Then, your pick is after ours. Second Pick: If your deposit is received second, your family will get the second pick of the litter. You will choose two puppies, your first pick and a second pick. Your family will receive its first choice as long as it is not chosen by the family with the first pick. If your first choice is the same as the family with the first pick your family will receive its second choice. Third Pick and etc.: If your deposit is received third, your family will get the third pick of the litter. You will pick three puppies, your first, second and third choices. Your family will receive its first choice as long as it is not chosen by the families with the first or second picks. If your first choice is no longer available your family will receive its second choice. If your first and second choices are no longer available your family will receive its third choice. If there are difficulties, will you take the puppy back? Yes, we will. If the puppy is returned to us within one week, we will refund the purchase price of the puppy in full, less any new travel expenses. After the first week, we will accept return of the puppy, and locate a new home for him. However, the purchase price and travel expenses will not be refunded. Are there any Breeding Restrictions? Our resolve is to promote only the finest quality Beagles, we encourage our families to spay or neuter their puppies, as long they are not interested in showing them. We discuss with each of our families the importance and benefits of responsible breeding. If you are interested in breeding, we are willing to assist you, and request that we are consulted prior to any breeding.
