Dear Kim, We are so happy with Maggie. We receive compliments about her from everyone. Our veterinarian says that she is the cutest Beagle that he has ever seen. Every time we take her for a walk, it takes at least 15-20 minutes longer because we have people stop us because they think that she is so cute! During her puppy kindergarten class, there was another Beagle. It did not even compare with Maggie. Maggie had a much better temperament and was much more responsive to us as her owners, than the other Beagle was to her owner. Many people have encouraged us to show and/or breed her because of her obvious quality. Unfortunately, when we decided to get her, our intention was to have a family pet that we could enjoy and care for. That is still what we want. Our three year old son, Ryan, absolutely adores her and he quickly learned how to get her all worked up. They have tons of fun together. We do not have a fence or a large yard. But, Maggie has dealt with that well. She has responded to a leash well and enjoys her daily walks. She loves to visit the Illinois Prairie Path, occasionally, for a nice long walk on the long trails. We have been very happy with the choice in breed that we made and it was well worth the wait to get our puppy from your Great Oaks Family. John, Jill, and Ryan Carol Stream, IL
